Vote Lying Lester For United States President in 2016

Should Lester Nation (AKA Lying Lester) run for United States president? You might be surprised, but I'm seriously considering it. At a minimum I've decided that I might write myself in when it comes time to cast my ballot in 2016.

That is, of course, only if my beloved Gary Johnson does not run. Gary Johnson is a hypocrite who said (concerning Barack Obama's position on marriage equality before the 2008 presidental election) "I guess the President is still more worried about losing Ohio, Colorado, North Carolina and Virginia than he is in doing the right thing".

This is despite the fact that Gary also "evolved" on the gay marriage question. Sure, NOW he says he "wouldn't leave it up to the states", but he DID leave it up to the state legislature while he was governor of New Mexico. Gay marriage is legal in NM now, but it didn't happen until 10 years after he left the governorship!

The fact is that Barack Obama did more to further the cause of marriage equality in his first term than Gary ever accomplished, and the pathetic putz Johnson has the nerve to criticize Mr. Obama with BS statements about Obama being more concerned about losing states than "doing the right thing"? Could it be that Gary's "evolution" is total BS and the truth is that he was just too scared (politically) to voice his support for marriage equality back when he was governor?

Yeah, those are valid questions lIberals and pRogressives might ask, but, frankly Lying Lester is with the Gary supporters who lie about his position being "consistent and strong".

Yes, it IS easy to take a position that you know might cost you votes while running for president when you know you've got no chance of winning either way. Which is the position Gary was in the last time he ran as the Libertarian candidate for the highest office in the land.

In 2012 Gary and his running mate (someone you've never heard of) received 0.99% of the popular vote, amounting to 1.27 million votes, and ZERO electoral votes... meaning that, no matter what Gary said he wasn't in danger of "losing" any states.

Which is why I voted for the Man and will vote for him again if he decides to run in 2016. Given Lying Lester's love for mental masturbation, is it any surprise that I also love to vote for POTUS in a similar mastubatory fashion? Honestly, me pontificating on the virtues of a hypothetical Johnson presidency is intellectual activity that serves no practical purpose. Yet I can't help jacking it (mentally) when it comes to the very unlikely practically impossible never-going-to-happen Gary Johnson administration.

The only thing more pointless than voting Gary for president in 2016 would be to write in "Lester Nation"... which is why I urge you to do so. But only *if* Gary does not run. Then vote for him and not me. Not that it matters, as Gary winning the presidency is probably only slightly more likely than Lying Lester ascending to the White House.

Byline: The magnificent individual responsible for this hopeful commentary is Lord Lying Lester: Man of Reason (AKA Lester Nation). Purveyor of untruth. LLIN-046.
