On Why I'm A Climate Change Skeptic

It is a fact that A) the earth's climate Is a chaotic system and B) because of that any attempt at predicting the weather hundreds of years into the future is a fool's errand on steroids.

And yet our fascistic and moronic politicians continue to think otherwise, spout ridiculous claims (that 97% of scientists agree with their views, that CO2 is the primary driver of temperature, that we already possess the technology to significantly decarbonize, etc.), and proclaim that they can control the climate through such idiotic initiatives as cap and trade, a carbon tax, green energy boondoggles, etc. How utterly embarrassing.

Although some might say that the embarrassment should be felt by deniers such as myself. If I were to be completely honest, I'd have to admit that deniers like me are huge liars and totally full of shit. For example, I pulled the typical denier fast one by conflating weather and climate. Then I lied about the fact that 97% of climate scientists agree that human activity is a significant contributing factor in changing mean global temperatures.

As for decarbonizing, certainly there is technology that currently exists that could make some significant progress toward this goal. The purpose of referring to green energy projects as a "boondoggles" is to STOP further progress toward decarbonization. Personally, I'm a big fan of dirty fossil fuels. They are there, and it would be foolish of our plutocrats to leave big profits on the table.

What's more important, folks; saving our planet or further enriching our beloved oligarchs? Obviously, as a Conservative, I'm for the latter and NOT the former. Actually, if hundreds of millions of worthless poor people die... that would be awesome IMO. Remember that the Black Death, which "reduced world population from an estimated 450 million to between 350 and 375 million in the 14th century", had POSITIVE benefits.

...the Black Death raised the standard of living of many survivors who inherited estates from the plague's victims. One sign of this was that peasant families, who, before the plague, were so poor that they sat at the dinner table on a common bench and ate from a common plate, now had individual stools and plates. This higher standard of living would lead to a more even wealth distribution and the recovery of the economy after 1450. (The Black Death and its Impact. c.1300-1450).

Now, one might think that, as a Libertarian, I'd be strongly opposed to "a more even wealth distribution", but what we saw following the Black Death was that those in extreme poverty were raised up to a poverty level that was moderate. Sure, millions will die due to the coming climate catastrophe, most of those will be among the world's poorest. But among those who survive there still will be many who are extremely poor (as most of the population of the world is quite poor).

What I'm saying is that I'm fine with a more even wealth distribution among the poor of the world. The plutocrats will be able to hold onto what is theirs and even increase their wealth when the apocalypse comes (apocalypse in the eyes of those the poor, MANY of which will be exterminated, mostly due to flooding and famine).

BTW, as for the poors being "exterminated", I use that word because surely poor people are a plague upon the world (my view as an Ayn Rand-worshipping Libertarian). Those of us who remain will all be in a better off position (at least in the long term). Which is why I WELCOME the coming climate change catastrophes.

And why I lie about those trying to stop them as being "ridiculous". The world needs a good Randian fumigation to rid the world of the parasites. Moochers like the greedy Bernie voters who think they deserve what the wealthy man has worked hard for. Or worked hard to steal by exploiting workers (as is their right). I'll be applauding when these assholes start starving/dying en masse.

Is America Approaching Neo Fuedalism?

Does anyone take issue with the following? Is it reasonable to expect that when working 70 hours a week, as the gentleman who wrote the following does, a person is able to provide for the basic needs for their family and themselves without needing government assistant? Is it acceptable that government contractors make healthy profits and yet not provide decent wages for their employees? Is it ethical, moral? What, if anything should be done to rectify the unfairness, if that is what it really is? As we continue to see more economic stratification (rich/working poor) are you concerned about the long range negative and potentially volatile societal consequences that may occur?

American voters should ask themselves: if presidential candidates won't help the workers who serve them every day, will they really help the millions of low-wage American workers who they don't know or see? I'm a Bible-believing Christian, just like a lot of the candidates. Scripture says to "Love your neighbor" and "Do unto to others as you would have them do unto you". It's a shame too few candidates follow the guidance of the book in which they say they believe.

My employer, Compass Group, is renewing its contract with the US government today – but none of the senators or government officials to whom we serve food asked me or my co-workers whether this multinational corporation, headquartered in the United Kingdom, is treating American workers right. No-one bothered to check if the company that makes billions in profits is paying workers a living wage and offering decent benefits so we don't have to use public aid programs to meet our basic needs. (Excerpted from the article I am a cook in the US Senate but I still need food stamps to feed my children by Bertrand Olotara).

Bertrand Olotara says "I work 70 hours a week doing two jobs but cannot make ends meet". Lying Lester's response? I say Bertrand is a whiner who should acquire more skills if he wants more money. Given he is a low skilled loser, it is entirely appropriate that he receive low wages.

If he can't provide for his family, he shouldn't have one. How many kids does this loser have? Lying Lester suspects he has too many. I mean, he should have considered whether or not he could provide for children before he decided to father them. But irresponsibility is quite common among the Poors.

Now he needs government assistance in the form of food stamps to feed his family. And the government provides it - with assistance from Lying Lester (in the form of his tax dollars). Frankly Lying Lester finds this to be an outrage! I say let this loser's kid's starve.

Neither the taxpayer nor the employer should pay extra because a low skilled poor made a bad decision. Lying Lester says Olotara (a single father) should put his kids to work. That would provide extra income in addition to him not having to pay for daycare. Unfortunately child labor laws prevent this. Laws Lying Lester strongly believes should be done away with.

Under no condition should Compass Group be forced to pay Olotara any more than they negotiated. If Olotara does not like the pay he can find employment elsewhere. That is how the Free Market works! As a Objectivist Libertarian Lying Lester believes in the Free Market with all his heart. He does not believe, by the way, in "loving his neighbor" or "doing unto others as Lying Lester would have them do unto him".

That's pu$$y talk - at which Lying Lester laughs. Same as he laughs at those who speak of imaginary friends who live in the sky and look to books written by said invisible imaginary friend. Whenever strong belief in mysticism, regardless whether Allah or God, trumps sound science and objective philosophy a society is bound to lose liberty and freedom.

Is it ethical and moral for a corporation to make healthy profits and yet not provide decent wages for their employees? HELL YES it is! And Olotara, who went on strike for more money than what he negotiated for, should have his ass fired for walking off the job.

As far as Lying Lester is concerned, nothing at all should be done to rectify the "unfairness". Because it is VERY fair in Lying Lester's opinion that working Poors be paid low low wages while their employers get richer and richer.

The bottom line here is that America *is* approaching neo feudalism, and Lying Lester says that is a good thing. But enough with the "approaching" already! Get rid of the public aid programs completely and those who can't or won't work will starve. This will keep the remaining Poors in line and stop them from striking.

If Olotara's labor were truly worth more he could negotiate for a higher wage, instead of attempting to EXTORT it from his employer! My father, a manager and business owner always told his employees: "If I go to the candy store I'll take you with me". And he always did with those that were productive.

But he shouldn't have had to. Back then the economy was better and good employees could easily find employment elsewhere. Thank Ayn Rand those days are over! Now the Poors can be forced to work for lower and lower wages. Leaving those at the top with an ever growing portion of the candy.

Before long they will have the entire candy store to themselves and the Poors will have to get by on what their wealthy betters (the Makers) can't eat and throw away... Just thinking of this makes Lying Lester smile.

Liberty... For Those Who Deserve It

One hears a lot of talk about liberty, and our rights as a supposedly free people. Most often it is heard within the framework of combating the gradual yet certain advance of socialism, sTatism, totalitarianism, and a host of other ism's.

The government's increasing involvement in out lives, and the growing limits placed on our ability to chose, fuel the current tea party and liberty movement in America. It is not only understandable, but indeed patriotic that these movements have gained force and strength.

Everyone who has achieved the age where the concept of liberty can be reasonably understood should wish for the ultimate success of the liberty movement. However, only by understanding the meaning of liberty, and practicing the exercise of it's principal in our daily lives will this nation regain the footing it once proudly stood on.

Unfortunately our lazy Black president, bArrack hUssein oBama, does not recognize the value of, nor understand the concept of liberty. In fact, he is an enemy of it, unlike our last pResident, GWB, who simply lost the true meaning of the word's concept. At least IMO.

So, what do I mean, exactly, by "liberty". What I'm talking about is the ability of wealthy individuals to make (by the sweat of their brow, or by using the power of their minds and accumulated wealth to exploit poor workers) as much money as they possibly can... without the gOvernment stepping in, stealing a large portion of it, and "redistributing" it to the parasitical Takers.

Without this liberty we are all less free. And America is more a country by and for the sTate (i.e "The People") instead of one governed for the benefit of THE PEOPLE. The important ones (i.e. the rich ones), that is.

And we should make no mistake about it... the liberty of a rich person to exploit poor workers for their own gain is a VERY important one. The MOST important liberty, I would say. One they (the rich people) DESERVE. Poor people? Well, the very fact that they're poor is proof they they do not deserve this liberty.

And that is a fact that all liberty-loving individuals such as myself can agree on. You don't agree? Obviously it's because you're a jealous loser.
